Parc Aviation to provide recruitment services to Dublin Aerospace

December 18th, 2009

Parc Aviation and Dublin Aerospace have finalised an agreement covering the provision of recruitment services to the recently launched MRO based at the former SR Technics (Ireland) site at Dublin Airport. The Irish Aviation Authority issued Dublin Aerospace's EASA Part 145 certification effective on the 14th October 2009.

Building on a foundation of over 50 years of experience in the aerospace industry, the Maintenance and Overhaul provider now performs heavy maintenance services for the A320 family and Boeing B737NG aircraft. In addition to the main hangar which can facilitate three narrow body aircraft, the recent acquisition also covered the landing gear workshops, the APU workshop, the APU test cell and component maintenance facilities. Focusing primarily on Honeywell APU, B737 Landing Gear and A320 base maintenance, the new MRO plans to combine modern Lean and Kaizen concepts with traditional quality and customer service.

Dublin Aerospace's Executive Chairman, Conor McCarthy recently commented "The team at Dublin Aerospace is committed to changing the way a traditional MRO business works. Replacing the highly structured and legacy type labour arrangements prevalent in other organisations, Dublin Aerospace will be a flexible and mobile organisation dedicated to customer service."
